The roughly 240 students at the Jennings Primary School now have improved air circulation in their classrooms, following the Sandals Foundation donation of 20 industrial-grade ceiling fans.
Principal Denise Solomon (left) accepted the electrical devices and thanked the non-profit organisation. She noted that the classroom environment will now be more conducive to learning. “The children will be more comfortable because the days are very hot,” she said.” If the classrooms are comfortable, more learning will take place.”
The Sandals Foundation remains steadfast in its commitment to investing in education and enhancing the infrastructure that supports the academic progress of the young. The organisation has worked with several primary and secondary institutions on island and continues to expand its reach in the education system.
