Police are investigating reports of an armed robbery that occurred in the early morning hours of July 13 in the Donavans area, where a gunman stole $1,500 in cash from a resident.
According to police reports, the incident took place at approximately 4am when the homeowner was awakened and confronted by an armed intruder who had entered the residence.
The suspect was described as a male of slim build, approximately 5 feet 8 inches tall. The intruder demanded money from the victim.
According to reports, the resident complied with the gunman’s demands and handed over a black wallet containing the stolen cash. The suspect then fled the scene through the same route he had used to enter the property.
Officers conducted a thorough search of the surrounding area following the incident but were unable to locate the suspect.
