Kenslon Parker has entered a plea of not guilty and has been remanded until October 16 regarding the theft of items valued at over $3000 from Mega Distributors Ltd on American Road.
Parker, who appeared before Acting Chief Magistrate Dexter Wason, yesterday, was reported to have been parked behind one of the company’s trucks in a black vehicle. With the help of another employee, he was reportedly observed loading various items into the vehicle. When confronted by a police officer, Parker quickly drove away in the vehicle, which contained the pilfered goods.
He was later located by the investigating officer and subsequently arrested.The magistrate sought further confirmation of the situation in the absence of the investigating officer and it was subsequently revealed that there is video footage corroborating the details of the incident.
