Opposition Leader Jamale Pringle has reappointed attorney Leon Chaku Symister to the Constituencies Boundaries Commission as the United Progressive Party’s representative, according to a press release issued Wednesday.

Symister will receive his formal instrument of appointment in a ceremony scheduled for Thursday, January 23, at 10:45 a.m.

The Governor-General and Prime Minister Gaston Browne have been notified of the selection.

Pringle expressed confidence in Symister’s ability to advocate for the Commission’s objectives, particularly in achieving voter parity and advancing democratic election outcomes.

The Opposition Leader cited Symister’s previous experience on the Commission and his legal expertise as key factors in the decision to reappoint him.
