A 40-year-old male resident of Bent Street, Georgetown was Tuesday robbed of his motorcycle and cellphone.
Police Headquarters reported that the incident occurred at about 18:40 hrs Tuesday at Wellington Street, Georgetown.
Two unidentifiable men, including one armed with a handgun, rode alongside the Bent Street resident on an XR motorcycle. The men reportedly blocked the man’s path.
Police in Regional Division 4’A’ are investigating an alleged Robbery Under Arms committed on a 40-year-old resident of Bent Street yesterday. The victim told police investigators that his motorcycle, a Novi 110 (valued at $150,000) was taken from him during the ordeal.
The man alleged that the pillion rider then jumped off the XR motorcycle, pulled out a gun and instructed him to hand over his motorcycle. His phone, valued at about $110,000, was also taken.
The matter was reported to the Police, and investigations are ongoing
