Saint Lucia Kings Stage Dramatic Comeback to Win Final Home Game of CPL

On September 15, the Saint Lucia Kings secured a thrilling 26-run victory over the Antigua & Barbuda Falcons in their final home match of the Republic Bank Caribbean Premier League.

After a shaky start, with the Kings at 42-3 by the powerplay, Ackeem Auguste (35) and Tim Seifert (13) anchored the innings. Despite interruptions from rain and quick wickets, the Kings managed to post a competitive 152 in their 20 overs.

In response, the Falcons struggled against the Kings’ bowlers, with Khary Pierre taking 3-24 and Noor Ahmad 2-13. The Falcons were reduced to 28-5 before a late 60-run partnership provided some resistance. Ultimately, the Kings clinched victory by 26 runs, capping off their home campaign on a high note.
