Reflecting on a Successful HR Professionals Day

A Day of Learning and Networking Despite the Rain

On September 26th, 2024, approximately 55 HR and management professionals came together for a successful HR Professionals Day, braving some rainy weather for an afternoon filled with learning and networking.

This year’s event featured two distinguished speakers:

  • Dr. Curtis Charles, Dean of Academic Affairs at UWIFIC, shared thought-provoking insights on the impact of Artificial Intelligence (AI) on the HR landscape.
  • Dr. Monica Osborne-Stevens discussed the increasingly vital topic of Employee Wellness, emphasizing its importance in today’s work environment.

The diverse audience represented various sectors, including government, hospitality, banking, consulting, security, unions, and insurance, fostering lively discussions and a strong commitment to professional development.

Fifty-five HR and management professionals gathered to celebrate a successful HR Professionals Day!
