SANDALS RESORT SUPPORTS LITERACY THROUGH READING AT LOCAL SUMMER CAMP

Sandals Grande Antigua Resort and Spa recently gifted over 100 children with books and literacy learning tools to support the further learning and development journey of children enrolled at the National Public Library of Antigua and Barbuda’s Reading Summer Camp.

Sandals Public Relations Manager Leon Norville said, “Literacy is one of the areas our young people struggle with and as a resort we are playing our part to ensure that we help to aid our teachers and even parents in this area of development. We hope through the books and activity bags gifted, our children’s curiosity for reading will be inspired. They will ask the hard questions that equip them to weigh and sort input, and make connections with what they see, hear, and learn to their own lives.”
