COVID Testing Site brimmed over with Unvaxed students

The Villa Polyclinic has been overwhelmed over the past two days with unvaccinated students getting tested for COVID-19.
This is one of the requirements for face to face learning, as part of the government’s school vaccine mandate which went into effect last November.
Upon Trumpet’s visit to the Villa Clinic scores of students accompanied by their parents could be seen occupying various parts of the compound, some visibly attempting to follow the social distancing protocol.
Several public servants were also on site for testing, vaccine and booster shots.
According to the government’s vaccine mandate for both adults and students, they must get tested for COVID-19 twice monthly if they choose to remain unvaccinated.
Meanwhile, when the Cabinet meets next week it will decide whether health officials will continue to administer these tests to public servants at no cost.
