Charges will be brought against the individuals who attacked a team of law enforcers in St Johnston Village on Sunday night.
That’s according to Police Commissioner Atlee Rodney.
Commissioner Rodney, denounced the actions of the angry residents who reportedly pelted officers with stones and other objects.
The incident was so grave that it left a law enforcement officer nursing a serious injury to his leg he was rushed to hospital but has since been discharged.
A police vehicle was also damaged during the brawl.
Police had responded to reports individuals were breaching traffic regulations as well as the limit on social gatherings amidst the COVID-19 pandemic.
Several individuals were taken into custody as the probe into the incident continues.
