Union to Hold meeting with Former Liat Employees

The Antigua Barbuda Worker’s Union is inviting all LIAT 1974 Ltd. employees (represented by the Antigua Barbuda Workers’ Union) to a meeting on Wednesday 24th March 2021, From 10AM to 1PM.

The Union wishes to provide an Update as to the Government’s position on matters relating to LIAT 1974 Ltd. and severance entitlements for former employees of the Airline.

To Facilitate the safety of our membership while following all COVID-19 protocols, a limit of 25 members will be granted entry at a time into the Union Building. Each meeting session will last for at least 30 minutes.

The meeting will be held at the Union’s Headquarters, Freedom Hall, located on Lower Newgate Street. Employees are reminded to wear your mask to enter the building.

All are asked to please make a special effort to attend between the specified times.
