Sandals Grande Antigua has been named as the Caribbean’s Most Romantic Resort at this year’s World Travel Awards.
The local hotel first won this award in 2014 and since then has held on to the title.
World Travel Awards was established in 1993 to acknowledge, reward and celebrate excellence across all key sectors of the travel, tourism and hospitality industries. Today, the World Travel Awards™ brand is recognised globally as the ultimate hallmark of industry excellence.
They are celebrating its 27th anniversary year in 2020.
Along side Sandals Grande Antigua, Curtain Bluff, the oldest running resort in Antigua and Barbuda was named the Carribbean’s Leading Green resort. This is the 4th time that the local resort has won this award having earned the title in 2011, 2012 and 2013.
The Verandah Resprt and Spa also won this ward previously in 2009.
