Browne appears in court and granted bail

Former Minister of Education Michael Browne made his first Court appearance this morning before Magistrate Ngaio Emanuel-Edwards at the All Saints Magistrates Court and was granted bail to the sum of $15000 with cash component of $6000.

Browne was charged earlier this morning by the police, base on a serious allegation made against him by a young lady.

The Member of Parliament for All Saints West was asked to have two(2) Antiguan sureties and to surrender both Regular and Diplomatic Passports to the Court. Browne is been represented by Attorney at Law Gail Pedro

He is also expected to report to the All Saints Police Station three times weekly. Browne was also order not to interfere with the victim or witnesses. More details to follow
