Latest polls show that the ULP is on course to win 11 of the 15 seats in St Vincent and the Grenadines

NEWS 784 St Vincent – Thousands of persons supporting the ruling Unity Labour Party in St Vincent and the Grenadines turned out to witness the launch of the party’s manifesto for the 2020 elections.

The large crowd of party supporters heard from all candidates contesting the 2020 elections on the ULP ticket, including the leader of the party Dr Ralph Gonsalves.

ULP will be going for an unprecedented  5th term in office, the party have been on winning streak since 2001, currently holding 8 of the 15 parliamentary seats

Latest polls show that the ULP is on course to win 11 of the 15 seats. According to the poll results, the ULP will take East Kingstown, South Leeward and North Leeward.

Leader of the party Ralph Gonsalves said the party is expected to win 13 seats on the mainland, however political observers say that would be a tall order heading into a 5th term.
