Police have arrested two men and are searching for a third in connection with the fatal shooting of 20-year-old Saquania Anthony, the expectant mother killed during a late-night attack in Bathlodge.
Investigators said three masked intruders forced their way into a residence at about 11:30pm on Monday and fired several rounds while several people were inside.
Anthony, a Bathlodge resident, was found unresponsive with multiple gunshot wounds. She was pronounced dead at approximately 1:58am on Tuesday.
A 13-year-old boy and a 24-year-old man also suffered gunshot wounds. Police said the teenager remains in stable but serious condition, while the man is listed as stable.
Two male suspects were taken into custody shortly after the shooting. Efforts are continuing to locate the third person believed to have been involved.
Police have not disclosed a possible motive or announced any charges.
