Thursday, September 11, Declared Public Holiday for National Day of Prayer

Public Holiday in observance of the National Day of Prayer

The General Public is hereby advised that the Governor General, via proclamation dated September 4, 2025, has appointed September 11, 2025 a public holiday in observance of the National Day of Prayer. All banks, shops, stores, and public offices are hereby affected.

Employers which cannot close their operation due to its continuous nature, are required to pay workers who are scheduled to work on the public holiday, their regular wage, in addition to at least an hourly rate of 150% of their basic rate per hour worked.
