Police have apprehended and charged 18-year-old Maurice Belgrave Jr. from All Saints and 30-year-old Ernesto Estevan Lawrence from Swetes in relation to a robbery and shooting that took place on Sunday, June 29, 2025.
The incident occurred at the Now and Later Supermarket located onFederation Road in Grays Farm, where the suspects allegedly robbed the owner of an undisclosed amount of money and shot her in the left leg before escaping.Both individuals face charges of Aggravated Robbery, Intent to Cause Grievous Bodily Harm through Shooting, Possession of a Firearm, and Possession of Ammunition. They are scheduled to appear in court later today.
