In her own words upon receiving the award:
“I am humbled yet elated about receiving the award among a prestigious core of nominees in this category. I remain grateful to the colleagues in Education, notably the Princess Margaret Secondary and the St. Andrew’s School, who have molded my growth as an Educator to be afforded the opportunity to have such deep-seated impact on the lives of others to this very day.”
“My Sandals journey has taken Learning and Development to a higher dimension, signaling a new level of personal and professional growth. I am thankful to all the team members who have supported me along the way, especially my General Manager, Mr. David Latchimy who keeps on challenging me to push boundaries. There is never a day that I am not grateful for my family and friends who have been my ‘day one.’”
She adds this encouragement to fellow changemakers:
