Former West Indies fast bowler, Kenneth ‘Flipper’ Benjamin, has endorsed the upcoming Buss Ball Father and Son Cricket Festival set for Fathers Day [June 15] at Liberta.
The event, organized by cricketer Samuel Peters, will pit father-and-son teams against each other in what is expected to be a friendly and fun-filled atmosphere. There will also be cricket-oriented games for patrons who visit the venue, providing them with the opportunity to win cash and other prizes.

The inaugural event which will also feature names like former West Indies fast bowler, Winston Benjamin, veterans Justin Athanaze and Kerry Mentore plus many more, will bowl off at 10:00 am.
Benjamin highlighted that there will be entertainment for all involved.
“You will have fielding, bowling competition and that sort of stuff so the public, I am sure, can partake and enjoy the day as well. The West Indies Academy just finished a two-day game over here [Liberta] and we will keep it ready just in case the 40-overs will start very soon,” he said.
Patrons attending the cricket festival will also have a chance to win a 2013 Honda Fit, plus other prizes via a raffle on the day of the event.
