EMT Jeconiah Carbon Sentenced to 10 Years for Attempted Murder of Gay Man in Antigua

Emergency Medical Technician Jeconiah Carbon, has been sentenced to 10 years in prison after being convicted of attempted murder of a gay man.

Carbon, who was 19 at the time of the incident, was found guilty by a high court jury in February following a week-long trial before Justice Tunde Bakre.

The conviction stems from a January 2020 incident at Dove Trail in Yeptons where Carbon lured the man to a secluded area under the guise of a sexual encounter.
