A resident from Potters, 31-year-old Josh Charles, is in critical condition at the Sir Lester Bird Medical Center due to life-threatening injuries.
Around 12:30am on Sunday, April 20, Charles was walking along Berlin main road in Potters Extension when an unidentified assailant sprayed him with a hazardous substance, causing severe injuries to his face, eyes, chest, back, arms and legs.
The police are asking anyone who may have seen the incident or has information about the perpetrator to contact the Criminal Investigations Department (CID) at 462-3913 or the Crimestoppers hotline at 800-TIPS (8477).
