Sir Novelle Richards and Sir McChesney George split victories in Secondary Schools Basketball

In the Mini-Boys Secondary division, SNRA emerged victorious over All Saints Secondary (ASSS) with a final score of 19-11. Jaden Royer led the way for Sir Novelle Richards with 10 points, nearly outscoring the entire All Saints team single-handedly. Despite the loss, All Saints’ Tyrese Lewis delivered an impressive individual performance, scoring 11 points to account for all of his team’s scoring.

The Junior Boys matchup saw Sir McChesney George High School dominate Sir Novelle Richards Academy in a lopsided 40-13 victory. Sir McChesney’s offense was powered by Eli Harris, who contributed 12 points, while teammate TJ Clarke added 10 points to the winning effort. The balanced scoring attack and stifling defense from Sir McChesney George proved too much for Sir Novelle Richards to overcome.

In the day’s most competitive contest in the afternoon, Antigua Grammar School defeated Sir McChesney George High School 55-38 in Senior Boys action. Raheem Sawyer led Antigua Grammar with 17 points in a strong offensive showing. Sir McChesney George’s Najee Simons matched Sawyer’s output with 17 points of his own, but lacked the supporting cast needed to keep pace with Antigua Grammar’s well-rounded attack.
