$20,000 Reward Offered for Information on Missing Activist Orden “Passo” David

Authorities and concerned community members have announced a $20,000 cash reward for information leading to the safe return of Orden “Passo” David, a well-known LGBTQ+ advocate who has been missing for several weeks.

The search for David has intensified following the discovery of his burnt-out vehicle near Pares Secondary School on February 15, 2025.

David, 39, of Bolans, was last seen on January 25, 2025, leaving a casino on Market Street in St. John’s around 11:30 PM. He was wearing a red vest and grey shorts and was driving his black Honda Fit.

The discovery of his charred vehicle has deepened concerns about his fate, prompting renewed calls for public assistance.

Investigators are appealing to anyone who may have seen suspicious activity near the Pares area or has any information about David’s movements after leaving the casino to come forward immediately.

David, a counselor at the AIDS Secretariat, has been a key advocate for LGBTQ+ rights in  Antigua and Barbuda.

He played a significant role in the historic 2022 court ruling that decriminalized same-sex relationships by overturning parts of the 1995 Sexual Offences Act.

Authorities urge anyone with relevant information to contact the Bolans Police Station at 462-1080 or the Criminal Investigations Department at 462-3913.

The substantial reward is aimed at encouraging individuals who may have critical details to step forward as the search for answers continues.
