West Indies Secure Historic Test Victory in Pakistan After 33 Years
ST. JOHN’S, Antigua – Cricket West Indies (CWI) proudly celebrates the men’s Test team’s remarkable 120-run triumph over Pakistan in Multan, marking their first Test win on Pakistani soil since 1990.
The victory was spearheaded by left-arm spinner Jomel Warrican, whose exceptional Player of the Series performance showcased his all-round brilliance. Warrican claimed a record-equalling 19 wickets in the two-Test series and contributed a vital 36-run knock in the first innings, cementing his pivotal role in the team’s success.
CWI President, Dr. Kishore Shallow, praised the team’s achievement, stating:
