This initiative is all about empowering our younger generation with the knowledge to understand climate change, its effects, and the importance of switching to sustainable energy sources like solar, wind, and hydropower. By teaching students how to reduce carbon emissions and transition to renewable energy, we are nurturing a culture of environmental responsibility for a greener future.
The campaign began on December 2, 2024, with St. John’s Lutheran School and has since expanded to other schools, including Grace Christian Academy. Through engaging activities and hands-on learning, we are helping students grasp complex ideas in a fun and relatable way, from electric vehicles to the importance of renewable energy in the fight against climate change. 🌬️🌞🔋
Together with the Department of Environment, we at the Department of Energy are on a mission to create a generation of environmentally conscious individuals who are eager to contribute to our country’s sustainable energy future. 🌿
