The Halo Foundation has received EC$ 50,000 from the American University of Antigua (AUA) as a start-up cash for the charity’s agricultural initiative.
The initiative seeks to offer some financial resources for the non profitableactivities as well as to trained and interested Halo Generation Y members in agricultural skills.
In the first instance, the Ministry of Agriculture will make one acre of land accessible for this purpose.
Professor Vernon Solomon, Vice President for Administrative Services and Community Affairs at AUA, presented the contribution to H.E. Lady Williams.
