Immigration Department hosts Customer Service training

The Immigration Department has embarked on a series of Customer Service training under the theme “Managing the Customer Experience”, as the department continues its efforts to continuously develop its employees’ skills. 

The Minister responsible for Immigration EP Chet Greene addressed the participants at the start of the session by identifying that training continues to be the hallmark of the work done in the department. 

“Even in this pandemic period it is very important that we continue to keep our staff updated, up to date and certainly conversant with modern trends,” Greene added. 

The Minister identified that the context of immigration and the border control requirements that the department has to undertake daily on behalf of the nation will be better appreciated through the training sessions. 

The sessions started on April 19 and will end on May 4.
