The popular One Nation Concert put on by the government of Antigua and Barbuda has been postponed.
The event which over the years has garnered big names like Koffee and Masicka and local names like Juba and Claudette Peters will not take place in its usual time frame of January. Instead for the 2021 edition, the government inidcated in the Cabinet notes that it may take place during Independence next year.
If it cannot be facilitated when the country looks to celebrate 40 years of freedom, it will be pushed back until January 2022.Â
The popoular event which came on stream some years was initially a free conert to the public. This, ofcourse brought about many suspicions and criticisms from not only members of the Oppsotion but also members of the public who accused gthe Gaston Browne-led administration of misusing funds.Â
Since then, a ticket price of $50 dollars EC has been added to the event.Â
