The Sandals Foundation made a timely donation of school supplies to the Potters Primary School on Wednesday. Backpacks, pencils, pencil cases, notebooks and pencil crayons were among the many items that were handed over to Principal Jasinter Athill and Education Officer for Zone 2 Alvacea Burton.
Principal Athill extended her gratitude to the non-profit organisation and noted that the items will be of significant help to the 267 students who attend the primary institution. Burton commended the Sandals Foundation for its consistency in supporting the education system in Antigua & Barbuda throughout the years.
On hand to make the donations on behalf of the charitable arm of Sandals Resorts were the Environmental Health and Safety Manager at Sandals Grande Antigua Jasiel Murphy, Public Relations Manager Amar Spencer-Sayers and Photo and Video Operations Manager Levor Ricketts.
