Defending league and play-off champions Board of Education (BoE) and former champions Sandals recorded convincing victories as action continued in the 2026 Cool & Smooth ABBA Business Basketball League at the JSC Basketball Complex on Saturday.
BoE, unbeaten in both the league and play-offs last season, secured the night’s largest victory margin with an 80-52 win over the Antigua and Barbuda Union of Teachers (ABUT).
Brothers Daniel and Danny Perez led BoE with 18 points each, while Beniah Mark added 17 and Warren Bogle contributed 10. For ABUT, Molefi Joseph scored 17 points and Enrico Josiah finished with 12.
Sandals, the 2024 champions, also enjoyed a comfortable victory, defeating Philippines 75-44.
Selassie Braithwaite led Sandals with 17 points, while Keroi Lee added 12. Ronel Gomez led Philippines with 12 points, followed by Raffi Saladino with 11.
Meanwhile, Anjo Wholesale held off CTM Auto Spa 66-62 in a closely contested encounter.
Yohan Nicholas and Gabriel Desuza scored 13 points each for Anjo Wholesale, while Donte Trimminghamled all scorers with 26 points for CTM Auto Spa. Ryan Shepphard added 13 and Tehran Zachariahcontributed 12.
Antigua Power Company Maintenance and Operations Limited (APCMOL) completed the night’s winners with a 60-35 victory over Sledge’O Ballers.
Humroy Wright led APCMOL with 21 points, while Leroy Percival scored 11 for Sledge’O Ballers and Ariel Quallis added 10.
