Saquania Anthony, a 21-year-old mother of two, has been identified as the woman killed in Monday night’s shooting in Bathlodge, as new details reveal she was pregnant with her third child at the time of the attack.
Anthony was reportedly inside a home in the area when gunmen entered and opened fire.
She leaves behind two children, a boy and a girl. At the time of her death, she was also carrying another child, adding to the tragedy surrounding the deadly attack.
The shooting also left a 13-year-old boy and a 25-year-old man injured. The teenager remains in critical condition after reportedly being shot in the face.
Police are continuing their investigation into the circumstances surrounding the shooting. No motive has been established, and no arrests have been reported.
