A man from Skerrits Pasture is hospitalized after being stabbed multiple times during an alleged dispute in St Johnston’s Village late Friday night.
The incident occurred around 11:30pm on July 18, according to reports. The victim, said to be in his 20s, was reportedly painting a fence when a verbal altercation with another male escalated into violence.
According to reports, the dispute escalated when the alleged perpetrator attacked the victim with what is believed to be a knife, inflicting multiple stab wounds to his back.
The injured man was transported to the hospital by a private vehicle, where medical personnel discovered life-threatening injuries, including a punctured lung. Hospital sources confirm the victim remains under observation in critical condition.
