Grenada was represented at The Metropolitan Museum of Art’s Costume Institute benefit gala on Monday night through designer Felisha Noel.
The creative force and owner of the clothing brand Fe Noel, the designer wore her own custom design to pay homage to iconic designer Karl Lagerfield.
Noel accompanied Marc Metrick, CEO of Saks, to the event.
The benefit gala marked the opening of the exhibition entitled “Karl Lagerfeld: A Line of Beauty”.
Born in New York to Grenadian parents, Noel has maintained close ties to the island, visiting often and drawing inspiration for her designs.
Her clothes have adorned the likes of Beyonce and Michelle Obama and she currently has a limited line Spring Designer collection available for retail at Target.(Loop Caribbean)
