A 15-year-old Tobago schoolboy is expected to miss the first day of the new academic year today, as he remains in police custody following the death of his grandfather.

According to police, the teenager, a Form Four student, was involved in an altercation with his grandfather on Saturday.

The elderly man sustained injuries during the incident and was taken to the Scarborough General Hospital for treatment. Despite the efforts of medical staff, he died yesterday.
