Fort James Beach Tragedy: Deceased Lifeguard Identified as Kevon “Dragon” Warner

The lifeguard who tragically died after suffering a medical emergency while on duty at Fort James Beach has been identified as Kevon Warner, affectionately known to many as “Dragon.”

Warner collapsed while carrying out his lifeguarding duties on Tuesday, July 28, prompting an immediate response from fellow lifeguards, who pulled him from the water and began CPR while emergency medical services were called.

Emergency Medical Services (EMS) personnel continued life-saving efforts at the scene before transporting him to the Sir Lester Bird Medical Centre. Despite every effort to save his life, Warner was later pronounced dead at the hospital.

The circumstances surrounding the medical emergency have not yet been disclosed, and authorities have not released any further details about the cause of his death.
