Azizi Joseph of Hatton Road, Union Road, became the proud owner of a brand-new Changan Alsvin on Saturday, February 14th, after his ticket was drawn as the grand prize winner in Townhouse Megastore’s annual “Shop Till You Drive” promotion.
The live draw took place at 11:30 am at the Megastore, was broadcast live on radio with legendary host “Chief Rocker” Sly J engaging audiences both on-site and over the airwaves.
Members of the Mansoor family oversaw the proceedings as a representative from ACE Enterprises Ltd., the local automotive partner, drew the winning ticket from the signature blue-and-yellow raffle drum.
Joseph was presented with the keys to his sleek black Changan Alsvin in a celebratory ceremony on the pavement outside the store. Photos captured the moment as he shook hands with a Mansoor family representative beside the vehicle, which displayed Townhouse Megastore “Shop Till You Drive” branding.
The promotion rewarded customer loyalty throughout the season with a straightforward entry structure: an initial $50 purchase earned the first ticket, with every subsequent $100 spent adding additional entries.
Joseph’s winning ticket was selected from thousands of entries accumulated through purchases of home appliances, furniture, electronics, and kitchen essentials.
