A Grays Farm man has been remanded in custody after being charged with stealing from a tourist.

Junior Emmanuel of Federation Road appeared before Senior Magistrate Ngaio Emanuel yesterday, who denied him bail.

Junior is accused of stealing a fanny pack from a visitor on Charles Henry Street on Saturday, November 29th.

The bag contained a UK passport, a Samsung A30 cellphone, and an undisclosed amount of US cash.
