Police are investigating an armed robbery in the Green Bay area after a woman was reportedly held at gunpoint and robbed of just ten dollars early Friday morning.
According to reports, the incident occurred around 5 a.m. on George Street as the victim was walking home from a nearby club. She told investigators that a man wearing a brown mask, dark long-sleeved shirt, blue cargo pants, and black boots confronted her with a small black firearm and demanded money.
The assailant reportedly searched her pockets and took $10 before being startled by a passing pedestrian, which allowed the victim to escape and seek help.
Police officers searched the area shortly after, but were unable to locate the suspect.
Several people have been interviewed since then; however, no useful information has been obtained yet.
Investigations into the incident are continuing.
