Seaview Farm resident Denzil O’Brien Cummins has celebrated his 101st birthday surrounded by family, friends and well-wishers.
The milestone occasion was marked on Wednesday at his home, with Governor General Sir Rodney Williams among those present to extend congratulations.
Born in Barbados, Mr Cummins built a varied career as a chef, entrepreneur and carpenter. He also spent part of his life in the United Kingdom, where he worked as a conductor with London Transport.
Relatives described him as a man of resilience and dedication, noting that his long life is an inspiration to the community.
