Paul Ryan Reappointed as Indonesia’s Honorary Consul in Antigua and Barbuda

The Government of the Republic of Indonesia has officially extended the tenure of Mr. Paul Everton Ryan as Honorary Consul in Saint John’s, Antigua and Barbuda.

A formal decree signed by Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto on August 15, 2025, emphasizes the trust and confidence placed in Mr. Ryan’s integrity, dedication, and ability to represent Indonesian interests in the country.

In the announcement, President Subianto highlighted the importance of having a competent representative in Antigua and Barbuda to protect and promote the interests of Indonesian citizens and strengthen bilateral relations between the two nations.

The presidential notice also called upon all citizens of Indonesia in Antigua and Barbuda to recognize Mr. Ryan in his official capacity and requested the Government of Antigua and Barbuda to accord him full recognition and support in carrying out his duties.

Mr. Ryan, who has served as Honorary Consul for several years, has been praised for fostering cultural, economic, and diplomatic ties between Indonesia and Antigua and Barbuda. His reappointment is expected to continue the promotion of trade, tourism, and cooperation between the two countries.
