Armed Robbery at Syrian Fast-Food Outlet

Johnny’s Fast Food on Matthews Main Road was the scene of a frightening armed robbery.

Owner Badre Barhoum reported that around 10:58 p.m. he and an employee were inside the restaurant when two masked men jumped over the counter.

One suspect, described as slim and six feet tall, wearing a white hoodie, allegedly brandished what appeared to be a shotgun.

The other, medium-built and about five feet tall in a grey hoodie, assisted in taking $1,000 ECD from the cash register.

The suspects then fled on foot in an eastern direction.

Authorities conducted a search of the surrounding area but were unable to locate the perpetrators. Investigations are ongoing, and the public has been urged to provide any information that may assist in the case.
