The ABWU Youth Arm Executive is pleased to introduce Sasha-Gay Middleton, one of the dynamic speakers for ABWU’s Youth Congress 2025.

Sasha is a purpose-driven corporate leader, climate advocate, and community development champion with over 13 years of experience leading impactful initiatives across the Caribbean. As Corporate Accounts Manager at Liberty Caribbean, she manages over 100 corporate clients and also serves as the Local Crisis Management Coordinator, leading disaster preparedness and business continuity with a people-first approach.

Outside the corporate world, Sasha is a force for environmental justice and sustainable development. She has spearheaded and mobilized over 30 environmental and hurricane relief projects in Antigua and Barbuda valued at USD 2 M and, as Resource Mobilization Lead for the Caribbean Feminist Climate Justice Movement, helped mobilized over half a million USD to 22 women-led groups across 10 Caribbean nations amplifying voices often left out of climate conversations. She was also a long-standing member of the UNDP Small Grants Programme Steering Committee, where she has supported more than 50 grassroots initiatives. She advocates for inclusive global policy through the UN Conventions and represents Small Island Developing States at international negotiations, reminding the world that resilience has roots in the Caribbean.

Academically, she is the first Mill Reef Fund Scholar, holds a Bachelors Degree in Management (International Business) from UWI Cave Hill, Barbados, and a Masters Degree in International Development Management from the University of Manchester in the United Kingdom, as a British Chevening Scholar. She is also a certified Chartered Director through the Caribbean Governance Institute.

Sasha has received national, regional, and international accolades, including being the recipient of the June 2025 Caribbean POSH Icon Woman Awards in Environmental Stewardship and being nominated as an Emerging Caribbean Leader.

Grounded in purpose, fueled by regional pride, and always ready for the next challenge, Sasha enjoys travelling, spa days, personal growth and development, and making waves in rooms not built for her, preferably with strong coffee and a good internet connection.

Don’t miss Sasha’s presentation on Opportunities & Preparation at ABWU’s Youth Congress 2025.
