The Antigua and Barbuda Meteorological Services issued an all-clear notice this morning as Hurricane Erin moved safely away from the Leeward Islands and British Virgin Islands.
As of 8:00 AM Saturday, Category 4 Hurricane Erin was located approximately 120 miles northeast of the Leeward Islands, moving west-northwest at 20 miles per hour. The storm is now outside the region’s monitored area, prompting meteorologists to discontinue all tropical cyclone alerts and tropical storm watches.
