Police are investigating a shooting in the village of Bolans that left a man injured on Wednesday night.
According to reports, the victim, who is a resident of Hatton, was visiting his girlfriend in the area when he came under fire. An unknown gunman allegedly approached from the eastern side of a nearby house and opened fire on the vehicle the man was driving.
He sustained gunshot wounds to his left foot and right thigh, and was rushed to the Sir Lester Bird Medical Centre for treatment. His injuries are not considered life-threatening, and he remains in stable condition, according to medical staff.
The suspect is still at large. He was described as wearing a black hoodie, black jeans, and a black face mask at the time of the incident.
