Harold Lovell Holds Youth Listening Session in All Saints West
Former political leader Harold Lovell has described a youth listening session held in All Saints West on Friday night as a “great success,” commending the energy and engagement of the 20 young participants.
Lovell, who now serves as the United Progressive Party’s caretaker for the constituency, said the forum created a valuable opportunity for young people to speak openly about their dreams, aspirations and the obstacles they face in pursuing them. Drawing on his experience as a university professor, he called the exchange both candid and inspiring.
“The energy in the room was contagious, full of passion, determination, and hope for the future,” Lovell said. “By listening to their stories, we can lead better. These young people are brimming with potential, and I am committed to walking alongside them as they shape their future.”
While choosing not to share photos in order to respect participants’ privacy, Lovell highlighted the importance of mentorship and guidance. He said engaging directly with young people allows leaders to provide practical tools, encouragement and perspective to help them realise their ambitions.
The session forms part of Lovell’s ongoing outreach efforts in the constituency as he seeks to strengthen connections with younger residents and involve them more closely in community and national development.
