Reigning Calypso Monarch Ge’Eve will represent Antigua and Barbuda at the Leeward Islands Calypso Monarch Competition tonight at the Landsome Bowl Cultural Centre in Anguilla.
Ge’Eve’s historic win at the just-concluded Calypso Monarch Competition highlighted her commanding stage presence, sharp lyricism and vibrant connection with audiences.
Tonight, Ge’Eve will perform ‘One Man’ and ‘Daughter Come’ – both arranged by award-winning producer and arranger Andrew “Smilus” Dorsett of Smilus Global Media.
The Leeward Islands Calypso Monarch competition brings together the best calypsonians from across the region for a celebration of Caribbean music, storytelling and cultural pride.
