Four in Police Custody for Unlawful Possession of Ammunition and Controlled Drugs

Four individuals are currently in police custody for questioning following the discovery of ammunition and controlled drugs during two separate search warrant operations.

At approximately 4:30 a.m., officers attached to the Criminal Investigations Department (CID) Task Force executed a search warrant at a residence in Cedar Valley, and during the search, the police found a quantity of cannabis, cocaine, and four rounds of ammunition. Several other items were also seized for further investigation.

In a separate operation, two people were arrested and taken into custody after the police carried out a search on their property at Cades Bay and seized a quantity of cannabis.

Investigations into both incidents remain ongoing
