Cyclist rushed to Sir Lester Bird Medical Center following hit and run
Young national cyclists, Jomari King, is currently at the Sir Lester Bird Medical Center receiving treatment after he was struck by a car while cycling with two other riders in the vicinity of Collins this morning.
Reports are that the driver, after striking the cyclist, fled the scene. Further reports indicate that onlookers were however, able to record the vehicle’s registration number.
King, although bruised, is said to be in stable condition. Our newsroom reached out to his father and cyclist, Omari King, who said his son was waiting for an x-ray to determine the extent of his injuries.
