Celebration of Excellence: Barbuda’s CSEC Mathematics Trailblazers
After a seven-year drought in CSEC Mathematics success, Barbuda has made an unforgettable comeback, where four remarkable students from Sir McChesney George Secondary School have etched a transformative narrative that transcends mere academic achievement.
👏 Congratulations to Dasheek Charles, Reniah Nibbes, and Dashawn Barton , who earned Grade 1 passes, and to Gregory Ann Thomas, who proudly secured a Grade 2 pass—breaking barriers and rewriting Barbuda’s academic story.
This success was made possible through a strong partnership between the Mathematics Unit, and the tireless instructional support of Mrs. Esther Mussington, Mrs. Amelia Desouza, and Mr. Anthony Lennon. Their guidance, combined with the students’ unwavering determination, led to this moment of triumph.
Their success serves as a powerful reminder that past limitations do not predetermine educational excellence but is instead crafted through persistent effort, strategic support, and an unbreakable spirit of determination. These four students stand as living proof that with the right guidance, commitment, and belief in one’s potential, mathematical success is not just possible—it is inevitable.
These four students are not just high achievers—they are trailblazers, pioneers who have opened a new chapter of mathematical possibility for Barbuda, inspiring future generations to dream beyond perceived boundaries.
