Jack Stroll’s Campaign Gains Momentum with New Merchandise Amidst Global Bank Dispute

Jack Stroll’s campaign to recover millions from the Global Bank of Commerce has expanded to include cellphone cases for sale on Amazon and eBay. The Canadian businessman has been struggling for over three years to access his funds, which are tied up in US$13.5 million worth of Treasury bills provided by the bank as collateral.

The bank has defaulted on repayment agreements, prompting Stroll to file lawsuits against CEO Brian Stuart Young and Attorney General Steadroy Benjamin. Prime Minister Gaston Browne has attributed the bank’s liquidity problems to limited deposits and large withdrawals, accusing Stroll of attempting to bankrupt the bank—a claim Stroll disputes. The Financial Services Regulatory Commission (FSRC), which oversees the bank, has yet to comment on the situation.
